Sched is a rotation management tool that integrates with Slack to manage Slack user groups for handoffs and (optionally) send rotation notifications.

Data we process

  • Slack workspace identifiers (Slack Team ID and optional display name) to scope configuration.
  • Slack user identifiers (Slack User IDs) to assign users to rotations and update user groups.
  • Rotation configuration (schedules, user group IDs, and assignment mappings) created by your workspace.

Tokens & credentials

Slack access tokens are managed by Nango. Sched stores an opaque connection identifier used to retrieve tokens at runtime; it does not store Slack access tokens in MongoDB.

Data retention & deletion

Workspace data is retained while your workspace uses Sched. When Sched is uninstalled from Slack, we delete integration records and identity mappings for that workspace and stop making Slack API calls for the uninstalled workspace.

GDPR Commitment

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), Sched is committed to GDPR compliance:

  • Right to access: You may request a copy of the data we hold about your workspace.
  • Right to rectification: You may update your rotation schedules and assignments at any time through the app.
  • Right to erasure: You may request deletion of your data, or uninstall Sched from Slack to trigger automatic deletion.
  • Right to data portability: You may request an export of your workspace data.

Data is processed in the United States. By using Sched, you consent to this transfer. See our Sub-processors page for a list of third-party services that process data on our behalf.
